Marine Transport Services

This dedicated Marine Transportation service is carried out on behalf of International Ship Owners and is in support of local Ships Agency companies.

The service is carried out on request of Ships Agents and vessels Masters with no cash problems for the crew as services are invoiced directly via the Ships Agent to the Ship Owners.

• Escort to and from Airport and assist upon arrival and departure including checking in and clearing of all luggage
• Assist mariners in transit with Customs formalities and ensure that all documentation required by the Department of Immigration (Passport Control) is duly completed and processed.
• Assist to and from Doctors and Dentists for normal appointments as well as in emergency situations
• Transport to and from Offshore Launches and Helicopters
• Transport on arrival and departure to and from Accomodation - Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts etc.
• Transfer on demand between Consul Offices, Legal Offices, Ships Agents, Restaurants, scenic attractions, Banks and any other destination as required by vessels crew.

Crew requiring our transport service range from Masters to the lowest ratings, also any supernumeraries and superintendents.

The benefit of a trained driver becomes essential especially with foreign mariners who do not speak the local languages, nor know there way around our cities. The Department of Immigration also place heavy penalties on mariners who go missing thus the door to door transport service is vital to the efficient handling of vessels visiting and passing the port.

Our fleet of vehicles are late model, modern and well maintained, each is fully licensed and insured with R 100m passenger liability cover.

They are also fitted with fire extinguishers and roadside emergency medical kits to ensure safe transportation as well as each vehicle being fitted with two way radio for communication with our operations desk. Our fleet of vehicles are fitted with Satellite Vehicle tracking that records all movements enabling our operations desk to maximize the control of vehicle movements at all times. Our fully uniformed and professionally licensed drivers also complete First Aid courses as an added precaution in the event of an emergency All our drivers have a cellular/mobile phone to ensure optimum communications between the ships agent and the driver actually assisting the mariner.
