What do we actually do?

We are a niche marine services company, specialising in providing transport solutions to the marine industry. We operate a fleet of vessels that provide offshore launch supply services to vessels calling Off Port Limits (OPL), as well as a dedicated marine transfers service looking after all crews transportation needs ashore. Further we have a dedicated Meet and Assist service at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg which assists foreign crew to make their connecting flights to coastal ports.

How do we book a service?

You can call, fax or email your service request to us, on a round the clock basis. Our business never sleeps and we always have dedicated 24/7 operations desks waiting to take your call.

What are our rates?

We do have standard rates for each branch, which are available on request, but depending on volumes and frequency we can tailor make pricing for projects. Please contact us and enquire directly.

Will bad weather effect offshore operations?

Yes, weather off our ports in the southern African coastline can impact operational capabilities at times. We take a very serious stance on safety, and no operation will be undertaken which may endanger the lives of our crew, or the passengers and cargo we transport to a vessel calling offshore.

Please advise limitations for sea conditions?

We have guidelines in place, but this depends on a combination of wind, swell and swell period, we monitor weather on an ongoing basis, and generally as a rule of thumb swells over 6m, with high winds and short swell periods will curtail operational activities.

Can you work at 15-20NM?

Yes, we have a variety of craft, with various operational limits, and we can do normal Off port Limits operations between 7-10 miles (see our OPL Maps) and further out if so desired, up a to a maximum of 40 miles with normal port limits manning requirements. Longer distance services can be arranged, but these require additional crew at additional cost.

What are your vessel capabilities? Do they Spec Sheets?

We have nine vessels in our fleet with various abilities; we can always email pdf spec sheets to any party, or follow the Fleet link on this website where they are freely available.

Can you remove sludge?

Yes we can, but this requires approvals from a variety of authorities and legal disposal needs to be arranged prior to service.

Can you deliver fuel offshore?

No, we are not permitted to provide commercial refuelling operations offshore. However this can be arranged on an emergency basis for vessels in distress, or during salvage operations with the correct approvals from SAMSA.

Do you have a Map of anchorages and your OPL rendezvous position?

Yes, you can request this from us, or find it on this site.

Do you have the co-ordinates’ for an anchorage?

Yes, these can be found detailed on our OPL Maps.

Can you tow vessels in distress?

Yes, depending of the gross tonnage and size of the vessel, we are available for towing charters.

How many lube oil drums fit on your deck?

This information is detailed on our vessel spec sheets, where the dimensions of each vessels deck are clearly indicated.

Can you assist with us swapping an anchor out?

Yes, this is a job we have done many times for vessels in port.
